In an effort to enhance the distribution network of BULATS, Linguaskill and the Goethe Test PRO in Switzerland, Swiss Exams is establishing “Language Testing Competence Centres” across Switzerland. Several centres have already signed up in major cities.
Since 2001, Swiss Exams has been distributing BULATS (Business Language Testing Service) through re-sellers across Switzerland and has been able to develop a significant market for flexible quality language assessment on demand.
Cambridge English, as well the Goethe Institut, have invested intensely in the development and the focus of these language assessment systems. As a consequence, Swiss Exams has likewise decided to invest in an enhanced distribution network in Switzerland by appointing “Language Testing Competence Centres” through which these tests are offered to schools, companies, government organisations and other institutions.
Former BULATS clients can now become “Language Testing Competence Centres” and offer the products in the portfolio to their clients. These centres are responsible for the local business development, organising and administering the exams and ensuring security by invigilating them according to Cambridge English and Goethe Institut guidelines. This will ensure the integrity of the exams and consequently enhance trust in them and recognition.
