Computer-delivered IELTS with Swiss Exams: operations start

With some delay, due to the Covid-19 situation, Swiss Exams will finally start IELTS operations across Switzerland in September.
IELTS, the International English Language Testing System is a multi-level English test for migration, university admissions and work. Globally, IELTS is a jointly provided assessment solution by the British Council, Cambridge Assessment English and a third party.
2021 Exam dates are open for registration – Reserve dates now

Swiss Exams offers computer- and paper-based Cambridge English exams in various locations in Switzerland.
This includes Zurich, Winterthur, Basel, Berne, Lausanne, Lucerne, Chur and St. Gallen. All 2021 dates are now open for registration. For the next year we have added additional dates for computer-based exams as well as for the locations in Berne and Lucerne. Registrations will be available starting from 1st September 2020.

After a challenging end of the last school year due to the ever-present Corona Virus, schools are starting again after the summer break.

Swiss Exams - Corona COVID 19 Measures to end

At the start of the Corona crisis, Swiss Exams immediately implemented measures to support their schools, teachers and candidates. As the Corona crisis has now become less acute and the government restrictions have been loosened, Swiss Exams is also slowly moving back to “normality”.
