Who is taking a Cambridge English exam in Switzerland?
In Switzerland, a large number of people from different educational backgrounds take the Cambridge English exams every year, organised by Swiss Exams. The Cambridge English certificates provide access to apprenticeships, training, university continuing education and increase opportunities in the workplace.
How do I register for a Cambridge English exam?
1. Select Exam
First select the Cambridge English exam you want to take. To find out what level you have, you can take a Cambridge English Placement Test. If you already know which exam you want or need to take, go to the official Swiss Exams registration page and select the exam you want to take.
2. Select Test Location
On the official Swiss Exams Cambridge exam registration website, select the place where you would like to take your Cambridge English exam. Swiss Exams conducts the official Cambridge English exams at various locations throughout Switzerland. These are the main locations: Zürich, Winterthur, Bern, Basel, St. Gallen, Lausanne, Luzern, Chur
3. Select Date
If you have chosen the location of your exam, you can now select an exam date. Swiss Exams offers various dates in different regions of Switzerland.
4. Select Exam Package
At Swiss Exams you can choose how you want to take the exam: on computer or on paper.
Swiss Exams also offers you the opportunity to choose between two packages:
- FLEX - offers many extras, such as the Exam Retake Option
- BASIC - cheaper option with less service included
5. Confirmation email from our Customer Service
Once you have completed the registration process, you will receive a confirmation email from us. Approximately 10 working days before the exam you will also receive your official invitation by e-mail. 48 hours before the exam, each candidate receives a reminder email with the invitation to the exam.
Where can I take the Cambridge English exam?
Swiss Exams is an authorized provider of Cambridge English exams and conducts them at over 20 locations in Switzerland. (Main locations: Zürich, Winterthur, Bern, Basel, St. Gallen, Lausanne, Luzern, Chur)
